Dhaka, Bangladesh (Until 2017)

In the lively city of Dhaka, Bangladesh, my academic journey unfolded, weaving through the vibrant streets of the world's fourth most populous city. Notre Dame Colege sparked my interest in engineering, a passion that carried me through MIST, one of Bangladesh's top public universities, where I proudly ranked among the top two students in my undergraduate studies. Following this, my pursuit of knowledge led me to BUET, where I earned my M.Sc. degree. Subsequently, I devoted six impactful years as a lecturer at MIST, embracing the dual roles of educator and researcher, each step contributing to my narrative in academia.

Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada (2017-2022)

I pursued a Ph.D. in Theoretical and Computational Science at the University of Lethbridge in Lethbridge, province of Alberta, Canada, delving into the development of algorithms for analyzing large sparse networks and handling big data using optimization and parallelization techniques. Following my Ph.D., I served as a Lecturer in the Mathematics and Computer Science department at the University of Lethbridge for a semester.

In October 2022, I transitioned to a remote research role at Huawei Technologies Canada. Subsequently, in 2023, I made the move to Kingston for an in-person engagement, continuing my journey in the exciting field of computational science.

Kingston, Ontario, Canada (Jan 2023 - Aug 2024)

Kingston has been a delightful chapter in my journey, offering a blend of historic charm and innovative opportunities. During my time here, I continued my research at Huawei Technologies Canada and enjoyed the vibrant community and scenic beauty of this lovely city.

Edmonton, Alberta, Canada (Aug 2024 - Present)

As of August 2024, I have moved to Edmonton, Alberta, where I am excited to start a new chapter as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Mathematics and Information Technology at Concordia University of Edmonton. I look forward to contributing to the academic community and exploring the vibrant culture of Edmonton.
